Choice of birthplace can be discussed during prenatal appointments. Your midwife can answer questions about whether you would like to have your baby at home, birth centre or in the hospital. It’s important that wherever you decide to give birth, you feel safe and comfortable. Births at home, birth centre and hospital in Ontario attended by a midwife can both be safe.
